Yes, we have a field in the current form for Seattle City Council district, though it’s not filled in for everyone. (For example, I just checked my profile, and although my address is there the district field is blank.) But at this point we will want to add fields for county district and state leg district. In the upcoming session, it will be that last one that counts. (And I guess it wouldn’t hurt to throw congressional in there for good measure.)<div><br></div><div>Katie<br><div><br><div><div><blockquote type="cite"><div>On Jan 7, 2021, at 2:20 PM, sextondouglas <<a href="mailto:sextondouglas@comcast.net" target="_blank">sextondouglas@comcast.net</a>> wrote:</div><br><div><div dir="auto"><div dir="auto">Hey Katie</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">Did a cursory look and this seems like it should be pretty doable and I could write a script after work today. I have a question I thought someone in this group might be able to help with. In preparation for the state legislative session, we’re trying to group TRU’s membership by legislative district, so that we can more effectively advocate with individual legislators. We have up-to-date address information for most TRU members, I think. But we haven’t mapped this onto districts yet.</div><div><br></div><div>King County has <a href="https://www.kingcounty.gov/depts/elections/elections/maps/find-my-districts.aspx" target="_blank">a district finder here</a> where you can put in your address and it will spit out your state, county and city districts. We can do this manually for each member, but it will be a bit of a chore. Is there a faster / more automatic way to get this done? It would be awesome to be able to feed in bulk address data and end up with a .csv or something with columns for state, county and city district.</div><div><br></div><div>Katie</div><div><br><div>
