Thank you once again for spending your evening discussing transit services
in our area, and strategizing to bring it back to a state of pride for our
residents.
Here's the link to the minutes Wes took. If you have any comments or
corrections please type them into the document and I'll follow up with you.

My report back to the main group will include a description of our
focus/mandate as one of taking actions to get transit agencies to live up
to their stated equity and accessibility policies, which includes
implementing different tactics to influence agency policies and public
perception.
One project will be to pressure the agencies that service the airport to
get night bus service when the Link Light Rail isn't running at night.
Plans include reaching out to Port employee, doing research on past and
present shadow bus service, and working with regional governments to make
the case it's worth funding.
There wasn't any actions claimed to work on vertical conveyance breakdowns,
though we did discuss our interest in following the lead of the
Accessibility Committee and helping with any efforts needed to be a squeaky
wheel to agencies. If you do have any ideas for actions around getting
escalators and elevators attended to, feel free to email the group at
transit at transiriders.org
I'll be posting a link to the notes on the Member Wall tomorrow afternoon,
so people in this group have a chance to review it.
Thanks,
S.
