hi BATs,
On looking up members of the Labor and Commerce committee, I checked the
bills that some of them were primary and secondary sponsors on and I came
across 2 Bills that look in line with our elevator/escalator parts and
labor goal.

https://app.leg.wa.gov/billsummary?BillNumber=5269&Year=2023
-- Bill 5269 *Concerning Washington State Manufacturing* - To grow the
manufacturing sector in WA state in line with climate commitments. More
details:

I think that elevators and escalators that improve transit stations fall
under contributing to reducing emissions by encouraging more accessible
transit travel.

https://app.leg.wa.gov/billsummary?BillNumber=5247&Year=2023
-- Bill 5247 Developing opportunities for service and workforce programs to
support climate-ready communities.

Rebecca Saldaña is a primary sponsor on Bill 5247. Karen Keiser, chair of
Labor and Commerce is a primary sponsor on 5269. And Joe Nguyen is a
primary sponsor on both of these bills.
Even though Sen. Nguyen isn't on the Labor & Commerce or Transportation
committee, maybe he would be a good Rep to approach?
