There is a whole separate link light rail transit plan that is addressing the east /west additional routes for the new light rail add ons. Are you think of the current routes needing more connection?

Thanks Katie.
I've been reading through and the transit sections look pretty great.

For this section...
Upgrades to Route 50, Route 44, and the new Route 65 would help address Seattle’s serious issue with a lack of reliable east-west crosstown service, which creates “transit deserts” and leave riders stuck in gridlock or with no option to get to their destination without a car.
Are there any other routes that should be included? The 60? Any others?
And do we want some wording about the possibility of bus routes that better connect riders to light rail?
Thanks,
Jo

Hi! Just wanted to flag that today’s the date that SNG and DRW are hoping to collect feedback on the Advocates Vision for the Transportation Levy (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1_FkSXhWprQ7XRbqXewO5JiB5ZntjZCOGtPo3_mcWq00/edit?usp=sharing). We might be able to give them some a little later on, if people are interested but need more time. I think they are especially interested in improving the sections on transit. If you’d like to dig into this but haven’t had time yet, let me know and I can check in with them about timing.

Hi folks! It would be great to give some feedback on this advocates’ transportation plan that Seattle Neighborhood Greenways, Disability Rights Washington, and others have been working on. They’re hoping for feedback by the 16th. Let me know how I can support.

Hi Katie,
Happy New Year! I hope you and your family are healthy and well.

I'm following up on when we talked at the end of last year and TRU signed on to support our Seattle Transportation Plan letter (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1_M7saobNPOcNWYkkTVs4y1s6gO-veO9Ey329-TMabKQ/edit#heading=h.mtg29aphwelv).

I don't know if you've been cc'd on communications, but over the winter, we've been working on a follow-up relating to the transportation levy that is expected to go to voters this fall. A workgroup led by Disability Rights Wa has laid out the scope of need for transportation funding for the next 8 years which could come from a new levy plus local, state, and federal dollars. This is what's needed to achieve the goals laid out in the Seattle Transportation Plan's "rapid progress" path forward.

The Advocates Vision for the Transportation Levy (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1_FkSXhWprQ7XRbqXewO5JiB5ZntjZCOGtPo3_mcWq00/edit?usp=sharing) is still in draft form. We'd love your feedback, thoughts, concerns, or support by January 16th, if possible.

We're hoping to make this public by the end of January, in advance of the Mayor releasing his draft proposal.

Thank you so much for your feedback and support!

Be well,
Clara
