[Transit] SDOT makes changes to Route 40 major bus stop

In its emailed announcement (but not, as far as I can see, anywhere on the project or design web sites), SDOT slid in a change to the route 40 project. Specifically, they are planning to move the northbound stop for the 40 to be in front of the Lenin statue, quite a ways away from the other route stops closer to the main intersection. Thanks to Asher on Twitter for noticing and filling me in.

Thoughts on what we can, or should, do about this? I am very annoyed that we have finished "final design" yet such a major change that will be a big impact to transit riders and pedestrians is being "proposed".
