[BATS] Testifying tomorrow about SB 5801 (transit and bike taxes)

Hey all,

TRU members Sara, Daniel, and Harrison are **physically riding** to Olympia to testify in person tomorrow!

What about?  SB 5801, tomorrow morning at 9am.  This bill would impose a 10% tax on electric bike sales and remove public transit’s exemption from certain fees (notably tolls).

I signed up to testify remotely about SB 5801 and have marked my position as “other” as I’m not wholly opposed to the bill, simply those parts.

I didn’t say I am testifying on behalf of TRU but…I would like to and would like our fellow members to be able to say so as well.  Would folks on BATS object if we said we are members of TRU (and/or BATS) with this position?
