We are building on the excellent work of our existing 4 modal plans and developing new “elements” based on resources like the New Mobility Playbook, Vision Zero Strategic Plan, Streets Illustrated, and more. We are trying to create a vision for how they all work together to achieve our goals around equity, climate, safety, mobility, livability, and stewardship. Ultimately, t<span style="background-color: white;" class="">here will be 8 “elements” in the STP: pedestrian, bicycle, freight, transit, vehicle, people streets and public spaces, curb management, and new and emerging mobility. Starting in September, w</span>e have been having internal “Network Integration” conversations to test various concepts for resolving network conflicts and discussing key choices and tradeoffs. We will have preliminary draft maps to share with you at the workshop as a “sneak peek”, and we plan to post an online activity after the workshop for the broader public to weigh in on the draft maps – we’re shooting for a mid-December launch.
