This is something I’ve been starting to talk about with some of our transit allies. We had a second meeting on Monday, discussing what would need to happen to make a countywide transit funding measure possible in 2026. That’s the year that Seattle’s transit benefit district is due for renewal, believe it or not, so the questions is whether there’s a realistic path to the county doing something instead— ideally without lowering the level of investment in Seattle transit service. If anyone from BATS wants to be looped into future meetings please let me know.</div><div><br></div><div>- Katie</div><div><br><div>
