Hey all,

Our top organizing priority over the next couple weeks is talking to people who work in Tukwila and recruiting them into the campaign. Jim made this really cool map where you can select an industry, and then individual businesses within that industry, and see them on a map (use the Ctrl/Command key to multi-select):

If anyone’s got some time to play around with this tool, I’d be interested in your suggestions of places to look for workers, beyond the obvious public-facing industries (retail + food service). We are going to do some scouting around hotels, using this map as a guide. But I think there are probably some other places worth investigating. You can look at our wage data <https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1DXx4-IHbkRdFFvkeZ8yx4QKPRChR1bDl/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=113070217445076459384&rtpof=true&sd=true> to see what industries are likely to have low-wage workers.

Anyone have a little time this week to work on this? If you have questions about how to go about it, happy to chat.

- Katie
