[TRU Research] Mini research project using OnTheMap

Hi All,

I have a mini-research project that would probably take a couple hours using the OnTheMap tool <https://onthemap.ces.census.gov/>— basically, pulling data to demonstrate that in the years since SeaTac’s and Seattle’s higher minimum wages went into effect, more Tukwila residents are commuting to work in those cities, and fewer are working in Tukwila. And more SeaTac residents are working in SeaTac. (I already checked the numbers enough to know that all this is true, not a huge effect but significant enough to note.) If you have a few hours to run the numbers and figure out a good way to present them, let me know & we can chat more. Not super urgent… this is responsive to questions from one of the Tukwila councilmembers but it’s something that might be good for talking points as well.
