Hello BATs,
The Washington State Legislature website posted the names of members for
the Committees today. I listed the Labor and Commerce members as well as
the Transportation members.
None of the names jumped out at me besides Rebecca Saldaña who is Vice
Chair on Labor and Commerce. When I looked at her bio to refresh my memory
this quote popped out at me "encourage sustainable development, build
equitable transportation solutions". She seems like a good candidate to
approach if we want to go the route of escalator parts and labor
improvement.
I'm sure some of you will have more familiarity with other Reps on these
lists.
I also wonder if a smaller committee is more advantageous than a larger
committee for getting a bill considered? Or maybe it's the opposite :)
I'm CCing Matthew on this email also.
Best,
Jo
