- Advocacy projects discussed at last meeting:

- We need to work to convince Strauss, Moore, Hollingsworth, and Rivera to support more TRU issues.
- Saka will try to reduce the effectiveness of TRU, how can we get other councilmembers on board.
- We should keep a log of all of the different routes we advocate about. A lot of issues reoccur on the same route, or even different routes where the same issues can occur.
- Sound Transit Chinatown-International District station placement conversation

- New successor to 5th Avenue alternative - 5th Shallow Diagonal
- Possible compromise alternative? Unclear if there is broad support for this.
- Could there be support for social housing or other equitable TOD at the 5th Ave station.
- Action item: can we get more info from Katie or other groups about their thoughts on the alternatives?
- May be first step to larger TRU project to keep Ballard Link project on track.
- 1st Ave

- Community members asked us to attend meeting with Metro
- Metro interested in 1st Ave bus service, but plans are all preliminary.
- On their agenda for the next few years.
- Metro is still committed to the idea of the 1st Ave Streetcar, but would be interested in bus service as a precursor to streetcar service.
- RapidRide G

- There are steel plates that raise the bus to the curb level to fix accessibility issues.
- Steep bus stops near 3rd avenue are difficult for wheelchair users. Disability Rights Washington might be interested in following up on this.

Bring your ideas and calendars to make a plan for 2025!
